Megan Clark, 27
I graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville with a degree in Digital Media/Multimedia Technology.
I’m Megan! I’m a freelance multimedia/digital media artist who specializes in brand development, website development and graphic design. I believe that digital design is always changing, and therefore the possibilities are endless. For the same reason, I always strive to stay up to date on the latest design trends and software. In addition to branding, websites, and marketing, I enjoy working with photo/video, music, and designing for printed products. I earned my A.S. degree in Digital Media/Multimedia Technology from the Florida State College at Jacksonville, along with 3 technical certificates, and was also recognized on the Dean’s List and President’s List.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to overcome obstacles that arise during the creative process, and to create & implement new solutions. Because of my curiosity and eagerness to learn, I’m constantly seeking out new creative challenges and am able to take on various types of projects.
My passion for digital design began when I was only 13 years old – a time where social media was less prevalent and we relied on it much less. We didn’t have Facebook, we had MySpace. Although the two sites have similar uses, unlike Facebook, MySpace allowed you to showcase your personality through your profile page by adding a ‘layout’. These layouts changed the overall look of your page and there was basically no limit to what you could add. Colors, text, imagery, icons all could be added to create a unqiue feel. However, these elements had to to added by inserting HTML code. There were various sources to get free code, but I developed a thirst for learning how to write code all on my own.
